This treatment is for the diversion of lymph oedema with a special mechanical lymph massage was developed by Dr. Emil Vodder (biologist from Denmark).
These symptoms mostly affect the lower extremities where gravitation is the strongest. The symptoms include: swollen legs, distended pain, cellulites, restless leg, and heavy legs. Involve gentle, pumping, round movements to increase the lymph flow, and help to transports the non-necessary fluids to the blood circulation.
The result is that the swelling decreases, the heavy leg sensation disappears, the person feels lighter and slimmer. It also helps improve cellulites.
During the treatment the lymph drainage applicator is applied to a certain part of the body (arm, leg, and belly). The machine pumps up and down the parts of the applicator, one after the other applying an alternating pressure.
Because of hygienic reasons a long arm shirt or trousers wear is advised.
The lymph drainage is prescribed maximum 10 times, the duration of the treatment 30-40 minutes. For future treatment 1-2 treatments a week are recommended.
